Just a quick tip, if you want to color the siding track and then the main tack, there may be an easier way. If you click on the first track piece of the siding after the turnout and select the color of the track, then do the same thing on the other end of the siding, you can double click on the middle of the uncolored siding track and it will just select all of the uncolored siding track in between the two colored track pieces. You can then select the color to match the siding. Once the siding track has a color, you can double click on the main track and it will just highlight the uncolored mainline track. You can then select a color for the main.
Yes, this can be much faster on a long sidings.
