Dutch Light Signals in SCARM

Here is published the preliminary library with Dutch light signals for use in SCARM, created with the help of Lex van der Loo. To use the library, download the ZIP file from the links below, then unzip it and copy the .lib file into Lib folder of SCARM where all other track libraries are located.

Depending of Windows version, default installation folder for SCARM may be “C:\Program Files\SCARM” or “C:\Program Files (x86)\SCARM”.

Now run SCARM and search for “Signals-NL-L” item in Objects sub-menu of libraries list – the new library should be there. Select it and then just drag and drop the chosen signals to the track plan. To see more about how to work with the signals, read How to place railway signals topic in the documentation.

Here are shown several signals from the library in 2D and 3D.

There are also left-sided signals as well. The library will be included in the standard installation package of SCRAM with the next version of the program.

  1. Is there a possibility of adding the old U.S. semaphores in the future? I am modeling a past era and would find it helpful.

    Thanks in advance,

  2. Milen,
After watching the tutorial I have been trying to create a building but when I left click and drag to create the initial box it disappears when I release the mouse button. What am I doing wrong or do I need to do something to correct the program?
