The Story of Stockrington – OO-scale Layout of Jukebox

This is a short introduction in pictures about a layout, designed with SCARM by Scott a.k.a. “Jukebox” and the building progress, described by him in his Stockrington topic on RMweb forum.

  • Dimensions: 7m x 4m (23′ x 13′) room
  • Epoch: III-IV
  • Trackwork: 4mm, OO (1:76), Code 70 bullhead track (C+L, Peco and Shinohara points), 850mm mainline radius, 2.5% maximum gradients

Scott has access to a plotter and this can be of great help when used for a full-scale printouts, like the SCARM track plan below:

The layout building is still in progress and you may follow it in Scott’s topic on RMweb forum. I am sure that this design will become a great model railway layout, when Scott completes his excellent work.
