QuickTip: Downloading SCARM Project Files From Internet

If you see a link to native .scarm project file here in the blog or in any other forum or website, you may click on it and expect to load the file directly in SCARM. However, it is possible your browser to open the project file as a text in the browser’s window, which is useless to you.

If this is the case, you need to right-click over the link and then select “Save Target As…” (Internet Explorer) or “Save Link As…” (Firefox) or the appropriate command in your favorite browser for downloading the link contents and saving as a file.

When Save dialog appears, choose the folder for the downloaded SCARM file and press OK button to save it. Now go to the folder and double click over the project file to open it in SCARM as usual.

  1. Trying to evaluate your program, but the intro page indicates that a plug-in is required to view the photos / videos. I am running Mozilla Firefox, fully up to date. What am I missing? Thanks!
