1. How can I pay for a SCARM license or extension?
You can pay online with your credit/debit card. The payment can be processed by PayPal or Paddle, depending on your choice. We do not receive, process or store any card or bank details.


2. Do I need to have PayPal account in order to pay?
No. You can make the payment by entering your credit/debit card details when redirected to PayPal website without obligation to register.


3. Do I need to have SCARM account for purchasing a license or extension?
Yes. You must create account in SCARM Registered Users Area in order to purchase and activate your license or extension for SCARM. The registration process is fast and easy, requiring only your name and valid e-mail address.


4. Can I see the prices in SCARM Webshop in different currencies?
Yes. SCARM Webshop supports pricing in USD, EUR or GBP. To see the prices in one of these currencies, login into your account, go to "Profile" page (by use of the link in the top right corner of the browser) and change the currency (remember to press the "Set" button in order to confirm the change). If your preferred currency is not supported by the Webshop, you can still make a payment where the corresponding conversion rate will be applied either by the payment processing gateway or by your bank where your card is issued.


5. Do I need to start the purchase from SCARM?
Not necessarily. You can do that and get the purchased license or extension right after the payment confirmation, but you can also make the purchase directly in the SCARM Webshop from any browser and/or device. However, you must initiate the activation and download of the already purchased license or extension from SCARM, using the default system browser (see more details below).


6. How will I receive the already purchased license or extension?
It will be available as file for download from your account in SCARM Registered Users Area.


7. When my purchased license or extension will be available in my SCARM account?
In general, the purchased license or extension will be available for activation and download right after the confirmation of your payment. You should receive a confirmation e-mail almost instantly after the purchase. If you don't get the confirmation e-mail within 1-2 hours, check your spam filter and/or your junk messages folder. Check also for new and ready for activation license/extension in your SCARM account. If you are unable to find the purchased item in your account even after 2 hours, contact us by sending e-mail to or write in the SCARM Blog here: Resolving License Activation and Installation Issues.


8. How to activate and install the already purchased license or extension in SCARM?
You should receive detailed instructions on your e-mail with step-by-step description of the activation and installation process. In general, you need to start SCARM and to use "Help" > "License Activation and Installation" menu command in order to open the default browser and login into your SCARM account. Here you will be able to find the purchased item and to left-click over the file link in order to activate, download and install the license or extension for SCARM on your PC.


9. Can I use single purchased license or extension on more than one PC?
No. The file with the license/extension for SCARM is valid only on the PC where it is activated and downloaded for the first time.


10. Can I transfer the already activated license or extension to another PC?
Yes. Start SCARM on the old PC and use "Help" > "Uninstall license(s)" menu command in order to uninstall and unlock your license on the server. Then start SCARM on the new PC and use "Help" > "License Activation and Installation" menu command in order to re-activate, download and install the license on the new PC. In case of problems (e.g. inability of uninstalling because of a broken PC), contact us by e-mail to and we will help you.
Note This feature is available in version 1.3.0 and higher.
