If you experience any problems with the license at the time of its activation or when using the registered version of SCARM, read below for a possible solution:

1. I get an error message while trying to register my license

- Check your license activation code and try again. The activation code is in form XXXX-YYYYY-ZZZZZZZZ and should not be preceded or followed by any brackets, quotes nor any other special symbols.

- Check your internet connection and try again. If you have antivirus and/or firewall installed on your PC, you may need to allow SCARM to connect to its licensing server for completing of the registration procedure.

- If the error message says “Restart the program” or “Restart the PC” in order to solve the problem, do that and then try again.

- The licensing server may experience some temporary problems. Wait for 10-15 minutes and then try again.

- If you checked and tried everything above and still cannot activate and register your license for SCARM, please, contact the support and describe the steps that you performed together with the exact text of the error message(s) that you received.

2. I get an error message, saying "There may be a problem with your license" when I try to open a project

- Check your internet connection, restart the program and try again. If you have antivirus and/or firewall installed on your PC, you may need to allow SCARM to connect to its licensing server for verifying of the license in the database.

- If the above solution does not help, try to re-activate your license. Start SCARM and use “License” > “License Activation and Installation” menu command then enter your activation code and press “Register” button. In case of problems while re-registering, please, refer to the hints in the Section 1 above.

3. My license worked normally, but suddenly SCARM switched in demo mode and started to ask for license again

- Check your internet connection, restart the program and try again. If you have antivirus and/or firewall installed on your PC, you may need to allow SCARM to connect to its licensing server for verifying of the license in the database.

- If the above solution does not help, try to re-activate your license. Start SCARM and use “License” > “License Activation and Installation” menu command then enter your activation code and press “Register” button. In case of problems while re-registering, please, refer to the hints in the Section 1 above.
