Here are presented several N-scale (1/160) ships and boats, created with the figures in SCARM and sent to me by John Lemay. You can download the SCARM project file with all these items from the links below, open it on your computer, select and copy desired ship or boat and then paste it in your track plan (opened in another SCARM instance).
You can rotate and fit the vessels to the desired position on the water surface in the layout. Use “Edit” > “Properties” menu command if you need to change the Vertical position of a given object. See the gallery below and click on the 3D images to see the vessels in more details.
- 3D virtual model of Mc-Kinney Moller Maersk ship
- 3D virtual model of Emma Maersk ship
- 3D virtual model of Edwin Gott ship
- Different types of improvised lake freighters in 3D
- 3D virtual model of Lansdowne Rail Ferry (loaded)
- Several different colored tug boats and barges in 3D
Some vessel models are provided together with shortened (mini) versions that are not prototypical, but may fit in smaller layouts and small water areas on the track plans.
Thank you, John, for sharing your virtual SCARM ships and boats with all other model train fans and SCARM users
