Simple Computer Aided Railway Modeller

This special tool allows fully automatic creation of parallel routes with flex tracks next to already existing single-line routes on the plan. The original route can contain any kind of simple tracks (straights, curves, or flexes) for which the program will produce a precise parallel route at a given distance and on the chosen side. The parallel route can copy all properties of the original one, like track modes (normal, tunnel, or bridge) and track colors, or can be made using the current presets for track mode and color. It is even possible parallel road to be created next to the selected main line or vice versa.

To use the tool, select one or more sequential simple tracks and then click on “Tools” > “Parallel route…” menu item. In the tool’s window, select the desired flex track for the parallel route and enter the required parallel distance. Then select a side (A or B) with the appropriate buttons and see how the parallel route will look on the plan. If you wish, change the settings for track mode and color, and when ready, press the “Create” button - your new parallel route will remain on the plan.
