The “Palmer Model Railroad” Layout in N scale
One nice and really large layout in N-scale, spread across the whole basement of the owner’s house. The project features very long double-track main lines with two more secondary routes, which are passing via many stations, towns, yards, sidings and industries and there is even a trolley (tram) line. The construction begins in 2019 and the layout is still expanding in 2025.

Description
Here is what Dwight says about the history of PMRR layout:
"The Railroad was started in 2019 as a Large U-Shaped Layout. The Plan was to have Two Main Lines and Crossovers (interlocking) so as to share Storage Yards. In March of 2020 at the start of the COVID Lockdown the Area on the left of the Track Plan was added to add running time and to provide Storage Tracks for the RBBB Circus Train. In Sept of 2020 the Long Balloon Loop was added off the west Main Line with two Passing Sidings and some Car/Engine Service Shop Tracks. Next to be added in 2021 was the Center Peninsula Loop and Yards - this is Located off the West main line between IL7-8 and IL 1-2. There is a New Long Loop under construction off the West Main from the room on the far left.
The PMRR is fully signaled for running in either direction on either Main Line using AZATRAX systems."
