Description
The track plan consists of U-shaped base with scenic ridge and double main line which passes via various scenes and landscapes with many stations, yards, branches and industries.
Starting from Jersey City Terminal (bottom right on the plan) and going counter-clockwise, the line is heading to the dumper, car floats and dock. After passing through the rocks that make up "Coke Mountain", the railroad goes through Easton Station. Next up is Bethlehem Steel, with all it's in-plant switching, and then the Reading Union Station after which line turns around the Allentown downtown. Following that is Wilkes-Barre, CNJ station, the Ashley Blue Coal breaker and Scranton Station in the middle of the aisle. Finally is the Taylor yard and the Scranton roundhouse. The roundhouse and Scranton loop track is over the Jersey City loop track.
This is one of the largest and most complex track plans ever designed in SCARM which is now turning into a real layout by the guys in Garden State Central Model Railroad Club. Awesome project!
